1. Overview

Wexon (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides an event and party planning platform in which users can view services, book items (catering, tents, lighting), and coordinate events. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal and sensitive data when you use the Wexon mobile app, website, or related services. 2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information only as needed for app functionality:

a) Identity & Account Data

  • Full name, display name, email address, phone number, profile photo.

b) Transaction & Payment Data

  • Payment token/transaction ID (processed by third-party payment provider), billing name and address when required.

c) Event & Booking Data

  • Event date/time, location, guest counts, menu selections, vendor choices, uploaded files (images of venue, floor plans).

d) Device & Usage Data

  • Device identifiers (Android Advertising ID, device model), OS version, app usage, crash logs, analytics and performance data.

e) Media & Device Permissions (only if used)

  • Camera and microphone — if you record or upload photos/audio for an event (we ask permission at runtime).

  • Location — only if you enable location-based services (e.g., find vendors near you). We request runtime permission prior to access.

f) Contacts (only if you enable invites)

  • Contacts or phone numbers only when you explicitly use an invite feature (you must authorise).

g) Other

  • Any data you provide in support requests, feedback, or messages.

We do not sell personal and sensitive user data. If third-party SDKs are used, we ensure their practices comply with Google Play policies. Google Help

3. Why We Collect Data (Purposes)

  • Create and manage your account and bookings.

  • Process payments and refunds.

  • Provide in-app functionality (invitations, vendor communication, uploads).

  • Improve app performance, troubleshoot crashes, and analyze usage (analytics).

  • Send transactional messages and notifications (booking confirmations, reminders).

  • Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud.

4. Sharing & Third Parties

We may share data with:

  • Service providers: payment processors, cloud hosting, email/SMS providers, analytics providers (e.g., Firebase/Google Analytics), and customer support platforms — only to provide our service.

  • Vendors: selected vendors and suppliers required to fulfil your booking (e.g., caterer, tent supplier) — only the information necessary for fulfilment.

  • Legal & compliance: to comply with law, protect rights, or respond to legal process.

  • Business transfers: in connection with mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales (with notice).

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain personal data for the period necessary to provide services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Typical retention periods:

  • Account & booking records: up to 7 years (for tax and audit purposes) — adjust to your company policy.

  • Analytics and logs: up to 2 years (aggregated where possible).

    You can request deletion of your account and data; we will comply subject to legal obligations and reasonable processing time.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data, including HTTPS/TLS for data in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive fields, and least-privilege access. No system is 100% secure; in the event of a breach we will notify affected users and authorities as required by law.

7. Children

Our app is not directed to children under 13 (or lower age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us to request deletion.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal data.

  • Restrict or object to certain processing.

  • Port your personal data in a machine-readable format.

9. In-App Disclosures & Permissions

Where we access or collect data that may not be reasonably expected (background location, microphone in background, etc.), we will provide a prominent in-app disclosure and obtain explicit consent before collection. Runtime permissions will be requested per Android best practices. Google Help

10. Data Safety & Play Console

We declare our data handling in Google Play’s Data Safety form and provide this Privacy Policy link in the Play Console store listing and inside the app, as required by Google Play. Failure to disclose accurately in both places may delay approval. Google Help+1

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy; we’ll post the new effective date and notify users where required.
